Simply, it does not deliver what was promised. For example, from the home page, if one selects planned outages, it then presents unplanned outages. Brilliant. Untested junk. If I had written this code, Id be embarrassed. Shame.

With monthly power outages this app the a life saver but I have to uninstall it every time I use it.

Not very good at all. App is not updated on regular basis, no notifications and not very informative. Needs a lot of work!!

It is a great app to have!! However you can not pick between options in the drop box (i.e. Choose between planned and unplanned outages) If that is fixed I would give this app 4 stars!!

So annoying to read "pending classification". Why bother? I know the power is out! I want to know why and how long until its back online.

Just downloaded the app to see if its improved, and it works perfectly. Relevant and accessible information. We have a lot of outages and its helpful to have a quick update. No crashes and the map populates right away.

They dont update the outage status and the app isnt allowing me to change to see the "planned outages"

Power went out about an hour ago, checked the map on the app and all the info was up-to-date. Letting me know the status and estimated time of repair. Easy to use and from what I found its quite accurate.

power out for hr+. cant locate district or region or postal code. good thing we have a woodstove to keep 96-yr old aunt warm! Program of no use to rural ont. why not list by postal code in this day of electronics. Rating: 1 minus 1

Doesnt show outage in my area even while there is no power. No info on when will be restored and hydro is aware of the outage. Im on edge of a large town

Power outage was posted on the map within 15 minutes. Great to know crews were already dispatched to fix the issue.

Useless app, search feature useless, updates are horrible, crews dispatched to middle if no where? Never shows an outage for the actual affected area. Deleted

We had an outage and the app reported the correct estimated recovery, but the next day it added another day to restoration date and did that every day so that the restoration date kept moving out when in fact the original restoration date was correct. I bet the data that Hydro One gives you is relative to the outage date, and the app is adding that to the cuurent date.

This app could be useful for anyone who can find where they live listed. At first I thought maybe my town wasnt included because it was small but then the power went out while visiting a friend in London and I checked and no info on London could be found, thats a pretty fricken town to leave out of your app. So this thing has been absolutely useless.

Definitely not in real-time, outages are not accurately displayed. Needs way more work to be of any use.

It might be useful if the outages were actually updated as they happen. Power has been out for hours and it doesnt even show up in the app.... And I live in Toronto!

Dont tell me to download your app and then make it user-unfriendly. One big storm (Ottawa Valley, 19 July 2013) and I cant even post our outage, and your phone system crashes as well!!! What IS the point of a non-interactive app? This is 2013, the age of the app, so no excuses.

Nice to see a hydro company release an app for their business. Would be nice to have a peak saver app instead of going to their website. Website is soooo 1990.

Cant even log in to online account

Lots of bugs using the power outage app, and options that are missing links and impossible to navigate the options.. The app is as good as their service HAHA!
